Government Publishes CIB Consultation ahead of AR8

The government has published a consultation seeking views on regulatory reforms to the Clean Industry Bonus ahead of Allocation Round 8 of the Contracts for Difference scheme. The proposed reforms are to introduce criteria on workforce protection and skills investment, extending the CIB to include onshore wind, and implementing technical improvements. The aim is to improve the CIB’s effectiveness in supporting the clean energy superpower mission. More details can be found here.
