Government Publishes Consultation on AR8 Policy and Contract Changes

The Government is seeking views on potential policy and contract amendments for the eighth allocation round of the Contracts for Difference (CfD) scheme.

These amendments will support the Government’s mission to deliver Clean Power by 2030. 

The consultation will close on 30 January 2026.
